DDH DIPA Citra, Idaho7 & El Dorado!

DDH DIPA Citra, Idaho7 & El Dorado

The new design of SALAMANDER labels carries a hidden value. Discover it below and don’t hesitate to talk about it.

I think differently, but I don’t deny

I think differently than you, but I don’t deny your opinion. I do not judge you through the prism of your behavior. I see the same man in you as I see in myself. With emotions, dilemmas, everyday silly, good and bad things, everyday pleasures, fatigue and the need for a better life. I respect You in the same way I respect myself, because despite the differences we are so alike.

I recognize your right to exist on an equal footing with mine

Above all, I recognize your right to exist on an equal footing with mine. You are different than me. You look different, you love different, you speak a different language, you believe in something else. And yet we have the same right to a fulfilled life.

I appreciates You

I give you recognition for how you resist difficulties. You struggle with your own habits, thinking patterns, categorizing, dividing people into your own and strangers. We grew up in difficult times, and now we bear great responsibility for the fate of future generations. Let’s shake hands (currently – only in spirit). More than you would think depends on our mutual respect.

Meet our next arrangement of intensely hopped DDH DIPA style!

This time we used the: Citra, Idaho7 and El Dorado hop varieties. The modified mashing process resulted in higher turbidity and opaque color of the beer, which, combined with a high proportion of malt and oat flakes, gives the beer a very juicy, crisp effect.

SALAMANDER DDH DIPA Citra, Idaho7 & El Dorado

This is our next arrangement of the DIPA style in an extremely aromatic DDH (double dry-hopped) version. Extremely crisp, juicy and intense in taste – all thanks to the hops used in the production process: Citra, Idaho7 and El Dorado, which gave the beer a unique, tropical character!

Style

Strong, double dry-hopped, cloudy and juicy Double IPA! To the bright, full, hazy base of wheat and oat malt we have added an unusual amount of Citra, Idaho7 and El Dorado hops and… we make it twice: during the late fermentation phase and aging. As a result – you won’t be able to resist the aromatic impact of grapefruit, lime, pineapple, mango, pear and stone fruit!

Malts/extract:

Although this is one of the strongest styles from the IPA family, the alcohol content is not high. The most important for this beer is to have strong (even sweet) malty foundation, smooth texture and slight haziness produced by wheat and oak flakes.

Hops:

There is a lot of going on!

To transform DIPA into DDH, DIPA it must be Double Dry Hopped. The first stage is hopping during the so-called high discs phase, i.e. the most intense fermentation phase. By default, it begins 24-48 hours after inflicting yeast. The second stage take place at a slightly lower temperature to bring out the aromas and give the hoppy fullness. We used three varieties of American hops:

Citra – one of the most commonly used varieties for cold hopping, rich in citrus aromas with a slightly floral profile – adding it at the fermentation stage gives tropical fruit aromas reminiscent of a multivitamin.

El Dorado – is characterized by clear stone fruit aromas.

Idaho7 – for the first time (in very experimental quantities), appeared on the market in 2015. And in the last, 2019, there was a group of faithful followers. This variety contains a combination of essential oils with an intense aroma of tropical fruits (papaya, citrus, grapefruit) mixed with resin notes of pine and black tea.

Tastes best when it`s fresh!

Such intensely hopped beers taste insanely – especially immediately after the filling! Hop aroma undergoes oxidation processes with time, so treat this beer with special care – store it in a dark and cool place (the fridge will be the best solution) and … don’t wait – drink fresh!
