Browar Stu Mostów from Wrocław – Short Stories at Food Show!

We have been invited to take part in the Food Show, still young but already the biggest festival of Polish food and cuisine organised as meetings between professionals and enthusiasts.

We have shared stories about Wrocław, our brands, and Concept Stu Mostów. We have explained how to pair food with craft beers and what we have been doing to educate people about the craft industry. Beer is our national drink, and beers brewed in WRCLW always work out exceptionally well. We have invited everyone for the Beer Geek Madness, our Festival of Festivals.

“To fully understand the success of Browar Stu Mostów, it’s worth remembering the history of Wrocław. The city has had the longest in Poland brewing traditions that go back 800 years. There are thousands and thousands of beer enthusiasts and several generations of brewers living here. The Brewery was established exactly 10 years after the last of the biggest breweries in Wrocław, the Piastowski Brewery, had closed down. Everything has gained momentum from then on. More craft breweries have been created. Browar Stu Mostów has soon become the meeting spot. We have focused on education. You can take a tour around the Brewery and find out what the difference between craft brewing and massive production is. Beer has become an essential part of the identity of Wrocław, which has earned the name for itself as the City of Good Beer” – said Arletta presenting the Brewery during the session titled Short Stories. Arletta shared the stories of the brewery, its development and current activities. She has also presented our three brands: WRCLW, Salamander, and ART as well as Concept Stu Mostów – the space for craftsmen to produce pretzels, bread and mustards with the use beer, wort, malts and brewer’s grains.

Concept has been highly successful. Producing goods based on the products from the nearby brewery is another asset of Wrocław. No other city in Poland has this kind of cooperation. Browar and its Concept Stu Mostów have been the pioneers.

Everyone has been interested in our business model. We have explained that we are not pioneers in terms of the business idea. Hundreds of breweries around the world own bakeries as it makes a business sense. Why waste money? Our Concept, however, is unique when it comes to design and imagination. It’s exceptional.
