NEIPA Strata, Citra, Mosaic & Sabro

SALAMANDER New England IPA Strata, Citra, Mosaic & Sabro

The new design of SALAMANDER labels carries a hidden value. Discover it below and don’t hesitate to talk about it.

No bullshit

I’m sorry, I hung up. I was just catching thoughts that would normally have gone to waste. For what? I throw them into a special drawer in my head, and when I’m looking for inspiration – I take them out. They are usually still quite fresh and very cooperative. Each of them pretends to be brilliant, but believe me – they can also be really tricky.

No leftovers

That’s right – the fridge. A strange space filled with indifferent cold and ruled by darkness punctuated by the visits of your hands. In these hostile conditions, we hibernate food and liquids to eat later or cool to the optimal drinking temperature. The most tragic of all are leftovers. They are wasted. Be human – save the leftovers.

Zero Waste

Stop! Do not throw. I know this one little garbage seems quite innocent, but as humanity we return tons of such garbage to the environment every day. A broth made of peelings – sounds great, the second life of a cardboard box – respect, you collect rainwater – you are a man, and when you sort your rubbish, you already deserve to feel like you really saved the world. Am I exaggerating? No. Only you, me and billions of similar #ZeroWaste heroes can save it.

Our next NEIPA drop comes full of juice obtained thanks to the addition of the huge amounts of Strata, Citra, Mosaic and Sabro hops. We tried a couple of new things in this one – in the technological process, the way of using hops and the specific amounts of them.

The final result is a bright, soft, well rounded juicy IPA full of pineapple, passion fruit and wildflower honey aromas and a low bitterness.

Double dry hopped and not pasteurized as in our (every NEIPA) protocol.

Salamander New England IPA Strata, Citra, Mosaic, Sabro

New England IPA is a hazy and velvety beer with a deep color and distinctive flavor. This NEIPA owes its unusual aroma to the following varieties: Strata, Citra, Mosaic and Sabro. While brewing it, we tried several new techniques in the technological process, the result of which is a bright, full and juicy IPA filled with notes of pineapple, passion fruit and wildflower honey.

Malts / extract:

New England IPA should be juicy!

This time we decided to use a simple mix of malts, consisting of a combination of barley malts with a small share of oat malt & flakes. Light, but at the same time full base and the ideal background for an intense hopping.

Hops:

Brewed with one of the most classic combos – Citra and Mosaic. After that, double dry hopped with huge amounts of Strata and just enough Sabro to add hoppy layers without overpowering the beer.

Best when it`s fresh!

Such intensely hopped beers tastes insanely, especially fresh! Hop aroma decreases over time. Therefore, treat this beer with particular care, keep it in a dark and very cool place (the fridge will be a good solution) and do not wait – drink fresh!
