As part of it, we have brewed three collaborative brews, including two in Wroc\u0142aw. Our Beer Bridge facilitates the access to beers brewed in Truchtlaching. One of the originators of Camba, Christian Nuber, is going to pay us a visit during the Oktoberfest Alternative. Join us to meet him and taste true Bavarian beers. Three of them are going to be rotating on taps at Oktoberfest.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the list:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hop Gun \u2013 Brown Ale intensively hopped with Americana hop varieties, Hop Gun cold brewing. Citrus aromas produced by hops; slightly bittern mouthfeel balanced with a strong malty foundation.<\/li>\n<li>IPA \u2013 a representative of American IPA;; brewed with abundance of American hops. Grapefruit and caramel tones. A mix of caramel and tropical fruit flavours.<\/li>\n<li>Christopher \u2013 a classic Belgian witbier. Aroma filled with citrus flavours and subtle cilantro tones. Fruity flavour with a clear cereal finish.<\/li>\n<li>Hell \u2013 golden unfiltered lager. Malty, bread-like aromas with tones of freshly mowed grass. Really malty with subtle citrus bitterness.<\/li>\n<li>Sweet Stout \u2013 milk stout bringing to mind cafe latte. Sweet, slightly roasted, creamy and full-bodied.<\/li>\n<li>Nelson Weisse \u2013 a typical German wheat beer enriched with an exceptional variety of New Zealand\u2019s hops, Nelson Sauvin. Citrus, fresh grass aromas with a clear touch of grapes and cereal. Similar to sparkling wine thank to its refined finish.<\/li>\n<li>Grisette \u2013 a slightly forgotten style of Belgian beer. Grisette is a light, everyday saison traditionally brewed from wheat. Fruity and spicy tones are typical for this moderately hopped and refreshing style.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Oktoberfest Alternative is a historical event drawing from the traditions of the Munich-style Oktoberfest organized in Wroc\u0142aw since the turn of the 19th and beginning of the 20the century. The best craft beers from Wroc\u0142aw and Lower Silesia are going to be available on taps. The music from the 1920s is going to be played in the background. There will also be delicious food and great atmosphere. The menu recreated from the 1924 Oktoberfest will be a major attraction. The dishes will be served on Friday and Saturday, 6 and 7 October, at Augustiner Br\u00e4u at the corner of Plac Solny and Ofiar O\u015bwi\u0119cimskich. Micha\u0142 Czekaj\u0142o is the main chef of the project; Concept Stu Most\u00f3w has provided support, and Grzegorz Sobel, PhD, has offered his invaluable help. We are going to serve Schweinernes, Wei\u00dfw\u00fcrste, Haxen, Hend\u2019l vom Rost, N\u00fcrnberger Bratw\u00fcrstel, Leberkn\u00f6del and Kalbskopfe, or boiled (or roasted) bacon, white sausages; pork knuckle, barbecue chicken, Nuremberg-style barbecue sausages, liver dumplings, and veal heads.<\/p>\n<p>The event promotes local beers and traditions of Oktoberfest organized in Wroc\u0142aw. The attractions include an exhibition on Oktoberfest as it used to be held in the city: multimedia presentation of the exhibition \u201cBeer in Wroc\u0142aw\u201d, reproduction of postcards, and news ads. There is also a layout of the menu from 4 October 1924. There is a note on the original menu that this is only one section of the whole, and a note \u201cI a Gerichten\u201d, or \u201cErstklassige Gerichten\u201d, which stands for first-class dishes. There will also be a competition for the most interesting Bavarian outfit. Visit Oktoberfest Alternative at the City\u2019s Arsenal in Wroc\u0142aw between 6 and 8 October.
